Visited both in summer and winters. Really nice walking and biking trials around, in winters lake is all frozen with spectacular view.

A beautiful park, perfect for families! The 10km loop around the lake is suitable for biking (and chariot-friendly) or jogging. The beach is amazing, but does get crowded. Bring something to provide shade. Dogs aren't allowed on the beach. There's also a great playground for kids and the camp shop has lots of candy and cold treats. We stayed for a week in our trailer and had no complaints. Our site had power and we also had cell service throughout the campground. There's lots to do nearby (Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site, a petting zoo). We'll be back!

Beautiful campground, sandy beach and swim area. Picnic day use area with firepits. Several beautiful hikes. The longest being 10 km around the lake. Large indoor toilet/shower facilities with laundry. Very family friendly park.

This is a five star car camping site. Amenities are all there, clean showers, laundry, lots of children play structures, a store for food and treats, friendly staff, firewood for sale, a beautiful beach with fine sand and a 10k gravel bike loop around the lake or a shorter path for a quick hike. No wonder this sites gets booked up quickly every summer. It is a short drive into Rocky Mountain House if you forget anything or didn't feel like cooking. Afterall it's car camping, you're allowed to cheat a little . We will definitely return and likely make it a summer tradition.

What a beautiful park! I just spent the day hiking around the lake. The 10km loop is a great walk, with not much elevation gain and loss. I'm looking forward to heading out again soon with my cross country skis!
